Buying a home is a huge decision! In fact, a home is the biggest purchase most of us will ever make. There is a lot that goes into buying a home and you can read about the process over in the blog section.
I love working with buyers, especially first time buyers. It is so much fun to watch people discover their new home and be a part of helping them achieve that goal. There is a special look people get when they find their home and that look is priceless.
Here are a few of the questions I get the most regarding buying a home:
Q. How long does the process take?
A. The process varies for everyone but it can go extremely quickly in the right circumstances. Check out my helpful blog on what the process typically looks like.
Q. Do I really need to put 20% down?
A. No. It is very unusual these days to need that kind of down payment in most situations. In fact, many people can get a conventional loan for around 3.5% down.
Q. What is down payment assistance and how do I qualify?
A. There are a number of programs available to assist you with the funds for a down payment. I am endorsed by the State of Washington to teach a class for the Washington State Housing Finance Commission which one of the most popular programs.
